The name of the site is Apneatic and I mentioned this to my partner, wondering what it would be. We knew it would have a fetish tinge, but he came up with something way out in left field. I won't tell you what he said because I don't want to lead you on, but I'll just tell you what it is instead.

Apneatic is the site of an unconventional babe named Apnea. She considers herself an artist and her edgy look reminds me a little of Fairuza Balk. You can read Apnea's interview on our blog. So now that we know she's cool, what does her site have to offer? Definitely, it's a well-designed and organized site, which is to be expected from any site that touts itself in the realm of fine art.
Extras include a journal where this funky chick posts blurbs about what's up in her life, a board forum that seems active and some links to other sites. There's an area with about me information, although I found it read a bit too much like a curriculum vitae than an intimate portrait of what makes this babe tick.
There are two videos at the moment and unfortunately they only run through QuickTime (320x240). However, the emphasis is on photography.
I love chicks like this! Better yet, I love photography like this. Apnea shoots with a lot of different photographer's and I was excited to see each of them mentioned by name. There are 19 sets and they all have a fashion feel, but Christine Kessler was the photographer that really drew out the edge and semi-nudity of this babe. Sets contain an average of 70 images, but the pixel quality was not as outstanding as I had hoped (542x800). Nonetheless, I rarely worry about pixel size when images are so awesome and they are for the most part on this site. Lighting is vibrant in most pictures, and the make-up and sets are sometimes inspiring to the point of excitement and although the black and white set is a wild and whacked out satire of the traditional nubile in bedroom theme, the lighting was bland. This particular set definitely could have used some higher contrast, and I wasn't totally impressed with the photographer.

Apneatic is a site that needs to grow, but is off to a great start. There's lots of fashion-like photography, which is creative and stirring, but I would have liked to see some emphasis on eroticism.
