I've always been drawn to fetish photography and to unique photos of any erotic style. There wasn't much information about the AG I photographer except that he started out shooting Goth chicks and recently published in the fetish magazine, Marquis.
You get a pretty good idea of what to expect from the AGI tour, although I was a little surprised that the face of the site, or the design, was amateur. There seemed to be more menu options on the tour than in the members' area, although the options are self-explanatory and it's hardly difficult to find your way around.
This is an exclusive site, there are weekly updates and you can purchase ready-made photo sets or contact the photographer for something custom-made. There are no bonus sites and I still didn't find any bio or the credentials of the photographer while inside the site.
The four most recent sets are profiled on the members' page and the menu links you to sets in the galleries, which appears to be an area with specific themed photos. The club galleries are filled with more candid style shots at specific fetish clubs like The Torture Garden and there are nine clubs listed, which basically represents the number of sets. Lastly, there's the events gallery and there are two sets. Here you get a detailed description of the events followed by a series of event photos. In all, there are about 122 galleries.
I expected a more candid style from the events and club sets, but many of these are posed shots. Perhaps this is due to the exhibitionist nature of fetish individuals, especially those who go all-out by dressing in various fetish garbs. In any case, these event galleries seemed to best represent the photographer's talent.
There seemed to be between 35 and 50 shots in a set. The average-quality photos are unfortuante fact in the case of a photo-only site. You can download individual shots, but there's neither a slide-show to view the complete set, nor is there a Zip download.
The style is largely raw and amateur. There were probably one or two shots in a set that I'd consider bang on. A set called Amber at College had a couple of cool lollipop shots. However, most sets just didn't have what it took to interest me. Sometimes the lighting was completely off like in a set called Candy takes her stockings off, but most times it was simply the fact that thee were a lot of uncropped long shots and not too many creative angles.
The photographer of AG I goes through the gamut of many fetish and BDSM themes, but his strength seems to lie in documentary style shooting rather than fine art. This is a largely amateur site that might appeal to those with an interest in viewing real fetish players, especially at clubs and events.
