Maybe
I am jaded, or maybe I have just read too many Marquis de Sade stories and his
philosophic ramblings, but when I think of Rather Extreme I
expect the most excessive BDSM sessions and still want a huge dose of creative
libertine acts. I have rarely come across what really turns me on in the shadowy
world of sadism and masochism, but then I'm rather idealistic and perhaps want
too much or maybe I'm just a BDSM snob.
In
any case, most sites I come across are amateur ones. It's not that the Masters
or Mistresses aren't skilled, but rather I often feel like there is a certain
amount of quality and sophistication missing from amateur sites like Rather
Extreme. First of all the design of this site laves a lot to be desired. It's
simple and it's clean, but using clip-art icons to point you to galleries is
something I can do without. The first thing you notice on the member's page
is a link to the RawXXX network of 40 sites that you can get for a minimal fee.
Next
in the list are the movies. The videos must be downloaded and cannot be streamed.
One thing I like is the variety. You have a choice between 32 BDSM themes.
53 bizarre, 41 fisting, 20 group sex, 20 strapon and 46 watersport movies.
Some of the movies are 15-minute, great quality mpegs with high production values
and with excellent domination scenarios. Other 3-minute movies (176x144) basically
looked as if they were dating back to the 1980's, but you can pretty much tell
by the thumbnails, which films are going to be better looking than others. I
didn't find the selection of movies I watched to be as extreme as I've viewed
on some other sites, yet the nature is BDSM and so included pussy torture and
double-fisting, so some of the material won't be suitable to those into lighter
hardcore fare.
There's
just as much in the way of photo content as there is in the way of video.
There's seven, real-life amateur galleries and one comic gallery. The 40 comic
sets are mainly black and white drawings (700x980), but others offer color panels.
The 372 reality sets are a mixture of professional and amateur styles. Some
of the pictures, at least the ones with a fake dungeon backdrop in the BDSM
category, seemed familiar to me and because there was such a variety of styles,
I would have to lean toward thinking there are multiple photographers and that
the pictures (700x875) may not all be exclusive.
There's
a ton of bonus videos from Abbraxa Porn and Max Hardcore among others, which
is an awesome deal in conjunction with the amount of content on this site, and
yet despite the frequency of updates, none of the site is exclusive.
There's an endless amount of niches, but no search engine, but in the end, the
site will appeal to those wanting as much quantity as possible.
