'Toxic' may be the name of a song by Britney Spears, but there's hardly any confusion between the pop tart and the babes lining the pages of Toxic Goddess.

ToxicGoddess is self described as an elite coven of alternative models, which of course piques my personal interest. If there are creative and edgy sites to be found, then they generally include a selection of Goth/punk chicks.
The members' area is referred to as 'the alter,' which seems appropriate since it's the place where you'll be sacrificing your libido to the charms of these babes. There are four to six updates a month, although there are also some extras of interest. For those looking for a community of like-minded individuals there's an active forum to discuss any models, movies or whatever strikes your fancy, I assume.
The design was good, although I'd have enjoyed a more compact organization on the members' page. As it stands there are new updates listed in a left-hand column. A preview of an upcoming photoset is prominent and this is followed by the webmaster's message. However, after this there's a lot of empty gray space that's begging to be filled.
The exclusive content consists of creative, artistic and experimental photography, but there are no videos on this site. Sets are organized by month and I could think of easier ways to navigate the site. Also, there was a major emphasis on the photography, which is fine by me, but I really wanted to see an equal or greater focus on the models. Each model is named, there are comments by the photographers, but I seriously wanted to know more about the chicks. Also, since it's a photo site, some bio and portfolio details regarding the shooters would be a great addition for photography fans.
The photographers (there appears to be two main ones) experiment a lot with light, which is overly apparent in sets like one with Dame Lebeau or another called Bolton's Mistress. Favorite sets included 'Solitude' and another called 'Restless'. There are generally between 30 and 80 images in each of the roughly 56 sets. The images are really low-res (675x450) for a photo-only site and there is neither a slideshow nor a Zip download. However, clicking on any picture will take you back to the thumbnail gallery, so a least you don't have to back click.

Erotic and experimental nude, bondage and fetish scenes are what you'll find on Toxic Goddess. Normally I adore photography sites and I'm all for experimenting, but somehow the tactic just doesn't cut it here. I'd like to see larger photos, more updates and extras that include model and photographer bios or even articles on lighting or the Goth scene would help pass the time here.
