One of the most unique concepts around, Tail Heat is a gay comics site that looks into a fascinating world of anthropomorphic animals, or "furries" as they're known, and the hijinks they get themselves into.
The drawings and animation at TailHeat are fantastic and wouldn't be out of place on a Saturday morning cartoon if, you know, it wasn't hardcore gay pornography. There's an obvious Japanese influence, as evidenced by the large eyes and narrow chins, but the site has a very unique look that's all its own.
The characters have defined traits that represent an archetype within the community and make them stand out. There's Addison, the tranny kitten and Foxy, the muscle-bound German rabbit and several other characters that are instantly identifiable. There's even some playfulness in the presentation, which is something a lot of erotic comics sites don't tackle, like the site banner and its homage to "Miami Vice."
There are currently only three videos and they're actually more like Flash animation games. In them, you go through different stages of an intense lovemaking session with "deer boi." You can jerk him off, jerk yourself off, fuck his sweet asshole and pull out a dildo for some toy love. You slowly and seductively build up the cum meter until you and him can't hold it in anymore and spray a flowing stream of spunk. The games are fun and the videos looks good, though they are something that would lose novelty after a few tries.
The six picture galleries are broken up by the major characters that populate this enjoyable world. In total, there are 59 images and they are giant and colorful. There's a link option with some pictures that are supposed to direct you to a store to buy a print of the image, but unfortunately takes you to an error page. It's a shame because some of these drawings would look awesome on a wall.
There are also several erotic fiction stories staring the characters on the site. These are more in-depth and character oriented than the comics, which is all about the delightful visuals. They're great to read, with a lot of hot action and go a long way to establishing this impressive world. There are no bonus sites, which is only disappointing because there is so little content at the moment.
Once they fill their library with more of what they have on offer now, Tail Heat will surely become a destination for lovers of gay comics. They still need to work out some navigation kinks, but the foundations of a enjoyable site have been established.
