A common theme with sites that star an individual performer is for them to make great boasts about how unique they are, especially in comparison to other sites that only offer the standard fare repackaged. While it's true that there are many kit sites out there, it's also true that claiming to be different is part of the kit. All this is to say that while Evan Rivers does offer some pretty decent gay hardcore action, the site itself might not be particularly special.
EvanRivers is pleasantly designed and fairly easy to use A menu bar at the left-hand side of the page provides you with links to all the site's sections. One will take you to the 'updates' section where you'll find all of the site's main content.
This main content consists of about 71 videos. Each of the updates also comes with a selection of screen cap, but no photos. As is typical of screen caps, these are unimpressive and really don't serve much purpose beyond allowing you to preview the action that takes place in the videos.
The videos themselves can be viewed in quite a few different ways. Full-length Windows Media videos are available for the more recent updates. You can also choose to view the movies as series of clips and here you'll also have a choice between a series of one-minute long clips of a series of longer clips. All the videos can be either streamed or downloaded, but only the clips come in MPEG format. The MPEG versions offer the best quality, but most of the videos have great-looking playback.
Each scene is about 18 minutes long. The content varies from scene to scene. You'll see one-on-one sex in a variety of locations, including a hammock. You'll also get to see all-male threesome and some bisexual threesomes as Evan explores various sexual adventures.
Aside from the main content, there is also a bio, a blog and a FAQ. These seem to be attempts to give this site a unique tone and personality, but I'm not sure how well they succeed. It's been a least a few months since anything was added to the blog, for example, and some of the text in the FAQs seems to be identical to the text in a certain straight site operated by the same company.
There are periodic gaps in the update schedule, but weekly updates do seem to be the norm. Sadly, you don't get any bonus site access to keep you busy while you wait for new installments.
Evan Rivers is a pretty decent site if you're looking to see a variety of sex between a hot dude and his other stud friends, but it might not be as unique as it makes itself out to be.
