People tend to think that a photo speaks for itself, like what your eyes see must be the truth, but, really, interpretation is key. Take, for example, the image of two people standing in an elevator. It doesn't do much for the imagination on its own, but with the right caption providing a back-story it can become an iconic representation of an intense encounter. That's the idea behind the provocative blurbs at Sissy Captions, where all kinds of images are accentuated or transformed by slogans and narratives that imply charged examples of female domination.

SissyCaptions, for all it's uniqueness, has a few problems. The site's organization is pretty weak. You can filter the archives by title, date or author, but you can't filter for video content, subject or type and none of the galleries come with thumbnails or descriptions to let you know what's inside.
Some of the galleries are also 'sponsored,' meaning you'll find distracting advertisement for the site from which the content is originally taken. Some of the content here is original, but a decent amount isn't. In fact, you will find photos from various sources embellished with captions. The captions are really the site's focus as you can see from the title.
There are currently 27 superb-looking QuickTime videos. These seem to be exclusive to the site and usually involve the same gal talking dirty to the camera, telling the audience what she is going to do to them or make them do. You'll also find some stories and audio recordings that are similar.
The site's main features, though, are the 484 galleries of average-looking photos and new material is being updated weekly. The galleries vary in size, but are generally small.
Sometimes there will be only one photo to in a set, although you'll usually find other random links to other sites. Each photo is accompanied by a caption that evokes a Femdom theme. Usually it will be written in the voice of a Mistress giving her sissy instructions.
The text may or may not imply that the Mistress is one of the people in the image. Sometimes the text will be addressed to the subservient person in the image.
Most of the photos are well chosen and most of the captions work well, but some of the choices don't seem to be particularly topical and some of the captions don't really seem to mesh well with the image.

Sissy Captions is very unique and imaginative and does a great job of spicing up images, livening up the imagination and creating an interesting experience. It does, however, have some other problems like nonexclusivity, average photo quality and mediocre design.
