Enchantae isn't your typical comic site. First of all it is exclusive, which often seems a little rare in this niche and second it is set in the imaginary world of a lost kingdom complete with trolls, a priestess and a quest.

Enchantae is unique and creative as far as I can tell and from the moment I familiarize myself with the characters and story I find myself a little ensnared in the comic tale. There's only one episode offered each month, which seems a little slow for a serial, but considering the creativity and artistry of the site, I'd personally rather wait a month for one whole original part than get something that's void of freshness every single week or day.
The originator of the comic is Jordi Bayarri and he isn't asking much for admission to his site. Of course, there isn't much on the site, at least in the way of bonuses or extras. There are 19 episodes at this point and each has 12 pages, but there aren't any downloads. Since the content amount is limited, navigation is simple. As the site grows, then perhaps there will be a need for some browsing features, but every episode is titled and numbered chronologically. Also, I should add at this point that you can view the site in either English or in Spanish.
There are splash pages for each episode and the pages can have up to five panels. Once again, each episode follows a 12 page sequential order. Each page fit perfectly on my computer screen and while there isn't a slide show, the browse feature was perfectly placed in the left and right centers of the image, which made it easy to move from page to page without scrolling up or down. The storyline begins with an overview of the kingdom and the main characters, but I quickly discover that fate is guided by sex and Jordi wastes no time illustrating the high Priestess fucking a studly palace guard and adding a dimension of the forbidden into the storyline.
The narrative is simplistic and to the point, but it seems well structured as far as I can tell and the drawings also work to make the storyline engaging on a more symbolic level. The illustrations are great, colors are rich and drawings have what I'd say are a realistic look with a bit of freestyle. Themes and sex scenes vary and as much as you'll discover straight sex, there are elements of fetish, there are lesbians, troll sex, groups and gang bangs.

I appreciated the originality of Enchantae, yet I'd like to see the site pick up the pace when it comes to updates. Also, a few different features could be added. For example, Jordi could provide some biographical information, some background on how the comic started and an artist blog and a forum would be a great addition.
