With a site like Darkest Comics, it's a bit difficult to discern just what you're getting yourself into on the basis of a title meant to draw you in. The fact is that most comic sites profile more than one illustrator or artist and while there may be similarities among them, their styles and genres are often quite different.

DarkestComics features 20 different artists that you can search based on their names. I loved this aspect because to often the artist is left unknown. There are weekly updates and many bonuses as part of your GoldXPass membership. What's particularly exciting are the 12 featured art and comic sites you receive along with another 16 reality hardcore bonuses.
There are 73 exclusive comic sets and an additional 110 books. The featured artist is named De Haro, although I was surprised that only five sets were offered and each contained three to eight splash screens (450x709 and 600x800). I'd expected a series of comic panels, but pages in some sets were unrelated by any connecting narrative or story flow in the work. On the other hand, one of the more historical sets did seem more complete. De Haro's artistry is phenomenally realistic and deeply BDSM dark, even among the different time periods he depicts. His focus is on the submissive female and his art evokes the extreme slave nature of his huge breasted sluts.

From Caligula to Nazi's and even some Aliens, the other artists and books cross many historical and futuristic fantasies and always keep pace with dark and edgy DS themes. When it comes to sites like this, DarkestComics sets itself apart by offering exceptionally talented artists, exclusive works and exciting pictorial stories. Out of the many comic sites I've seen, DarkestComics it a site that's well worth the money.
