If you ever read any of Anne Rice’s books, you’ll realize the Hollywood movie version of her work was purged of the erotic undercurrent that is rather palpable in her novels. Purportedly, poor Tom Cruise who has had to deal with myriad rumors regarding his sexuality didn’t want there to be any subtext implying unnatural affection shared between his male character and that of Brad Pitt’s. However, My Vamp proves that there is plenty of straight loving in the vampire community too.

In fact, despite Mr. Cruise’s misgivings, the original story, that was the basis for Interview with the Vampire, has nothing explicitly sexual in it. It’s merely the way it describes an act of vampirism as an altered state in which both the undead vampire and the living human become one, culminating in a blood rush for the aggressor and a draining spent feeling for the prey that could be seen as a metaphor for sexual intercourse.

Nevertheless, in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the comparison of the two events, orgasm and turning some into a vampire, was even harder to ignore. Scenes of writhing female vampires making out with one another while seducing Keanu Reeves character, bespoke more than a mere erotic subplot. It reminded me more of what seemed to be implied by Rice’s text when I read it. I imagine that My Vamp has some scenes inspired by those concepts.

Mistress Tracy was disappointed though to only find seven videos when she did her review back in December 2005. However, she did say that there were a couple of worthwhile lesbo vampire fantasies included in the footage. She said some of the over 280 galleries had the same theme, as well as lots of other fetish-related subject matter. Despite her misgivings about the vids, it certainly gets my blood flowing southwards, when I hear her describe the flicks as filled with “hot and viperous lesbians.”

I visited the promo section of the site and although some of the sample shots look a tad over-the-top with babes baring huge plastic fangs, there are some really hot Goth models to see there it seems. I even think I recognized Anna Rose from Alter Pic in one of the preview pics. Probably, sometime soon, the review will be updated and we’ll be able to see whether it’s grown or improved some in the last year or so. I’d love to see a revamped version with more vids.
