What I expect from a fetish site.

All of us who surf porn have our standards regarding photos, videos and what we expect from fetish. There are dozens of styles and each has its charm, but when it comes to fetish I expect the best. After all, fetish consists of focussed niche material and I often find, just like purchasing niche stations through a cable company, I’m often willing to pay for what I want. In this way, I’m generally more discerning because I definitely want what suits my specific needs. It all comes down to individual point of view. Our expectations are based not only on how we look, but how we actually see the individual fetishes that turn us on.

Bondage for example, particularly draws me in. In my opinion, it’s an art form and what I expect from a site is more akin to high art than to low art. I’m a bit of a snob that way. I have no interest in bargain basement BDSM. I don’t want Jerry Springer when I can have A&E. For example, part of the whole exciting experience in bondage is the pride and pleasure that a rope master takes in his/her art and creation. I expect sensuality, eroticism, symmetry, pleasure, drama and decisiveness on the part of the master. Bondage is a slow and precise process and nothing irritates me more than seeing some amateur sloppily and hurriedly bind a submissive.

How I view bondage is not my only consideration, though. How a site meets my view is equally important. In this respect the photography should be nearly impeccable. I not only want to be able to see the tension in a rope, but I want the lighting, framing and angles to enhance my concept of beauty and art. Similarly, I expect a creative style and quality in the videos. If it takes five-minutes or 40-minutes to wrap a sub in an open crab leg, then I want to see it. I don’t want to watch one knot being placed and then suddenly there’s a cut and a submissive is miraculously bound and being teased. I want flow and suture in my movies.
