Yesterday in the office, discussed spitting versus swallowing. A conversation that came naturally in a roomful of people reviewing porn but then again I’ve always talked inappropriate subjects wherever I worked. Let’s face it, faced with seeing the same people and faces, day after day, there is only so long you can talk about the weather.

Frankly, issues of politics or religion cause greater controversy than candid discourse on whether, swallowing is gross or spitting is an insult. At any rate, that was the latest debate round my desk and it was amusing to hear my colleagues’ opinions. The woman to my left said sperm tastes disgusting while the dude to my right claims he had never met a girl yet that didn’t swallow.

From personal experience, swallowing has often been a concession made by “friends with benefits” that limited our encounters to oral sex. It knocks fellatio up a notch to go with the flow until the end of the blow letting yourself go inside a hot mouth. Otherwise, you have to pay attention, warn when it’s about shoot, pull out and stroke off, which may take awhile after having held back so long making the end anti-climatic.

Nevertheless, those who have tasted someone’s semen or their own out of sheer curiosity (It doesn’t make one gay.), it may be obvious that those who don’t swallow aren’t necessarily prudes, it might just mean their gag reflexes aren’t up to the rather strange and sometimes unpleasant taste of man juice.

After, we’d agreed to disagree about seed sampling, I stumbled across a press release on Response Source (06/27/06) about an online sex toy retailer LoveHoney.co.uk/Cocklocker.co.uk looking for gay and heterosexual sperm testers.

They want to market an herbal supplement meant to improve the taste of sexual fluids. Volunteers must be willing to give a “blow-by-blow” and have a picture taken, although not necessarily during the actual act of tasting. They also claim, “Test product is 100% vegetarian.”

It seems odd to mention that last bit since getting sperm usually requires eating some meat, sucking some sausage, possibly choking the chicken and a hot beef injection… Then again, none of that exactly qualifies as animal cruelty.
