Here’s a follow-up to Monday’s castration tale. It’s always interesting to get a more direct source for a story and this time I found an article in a local paper, The Citizen-Times out of Asheville, North Carolina.

It turns out that two of the four men arrested for the illegal medical surgeries involving castrating several supposedly willing patients are in fact lovers. Michael Mendez, 60 and Danny Carroll Reeves, 49 lived together in a master-slave relationship.

I don’t know why I find it especially humorous but the room previously referred to as their “dungeon” was located just off their carport. I somehow imagined that it would be in dank cellar or dark basement not just off the back of some mundane parking structure. Nevertheless, I’m not sure I would want to have a surgery only a few feet from where someone parks a pickup truck.

As to how the operations managed to pass without physical harm to the passive recipients, investigators found a copy of the Physicians Desk Reference Guide and evidence that used instruments were kept but not necessarily recycled. One of the other suspects not living in the house, Richard Peter “Master Rick” Sciara did work as a physician’s assistant in Kansas, although he has never held a medical license in that state, according to its health board.

Interestingly, Master Rick had logged onto the internet the day before his arrest and posted the following description along with a photo of himself wearing a leather vest and chaps (image available on story link).

“This is NOT a game with Me, I live this lifestyle, have currently 1 live in 24/7 slave, whom I Own. Looking to train other slaves and to add to My stable of slaves. Am always open to giving experiences and expanding limits, but only with Male slaves and subs (submissives).”

Apparently, he wasn’t exaggerating… but it took balls to be his slave or more accurately a willing lack thereof.
