One of the Christmas gifts that I received this year was to Amazon and I immediately started surfing for all kinds of fetish books. It’s funny that a person like me who writes erotic fiction would barely ever pick a book of erotic fiction, although I do have a lot of them. Still, I suppose my own writing turns me on more then other writings, so when it comes to purchasing books I have an insatiable appetite for non-fiction.

Writing increasingly more fetish reviews, I am coming across more and more fetishes, and I’ve been picking up a lot of books lately. While I’ve never been one to believe in the impossible and am the kind of person who has always thought of myself as knowledgeable when it comes to fetish, there are still those fetishes that make me feel like I’m rather naïve, while others completely fascinate me. However, books can only give you aspects of fetish and I find that in visiting forums I can learn as much as if I had read a comprehensive book.

Forums where others tell of their fetish experiences and fantasies just gets me totally excited and intrigued. Rather than simply knowledge, I think I find I learn most while listening or reading realistic accounts of how fetishes developed and when people first realized they had a fetish and weren’t alone. Aside from the interaction with others who share similar or different interests, opinions and experiences the fact is that you can’t pay for the wealth of experience or learn as much about fetish short of living the life, yourself, than through an interactive forum.
