Before I even reach the member's page, I discover that Wasteland boasts being the oldest and largest BDSM and fetish site and that it has won a few AVN awards. I haven't even seen my first image and already my curiosity is piqued.
What I liked immediately about Wasteland was that you could enter the site as a dial-up or broadband user and you also have the option of six different languages other than English. Already the site proves they're attentive to member's needs. They also claim to have nearly a million photos and 10,000 fetish movies, so get set for the ride of a lifetime.
The site is chalk full of links and it's organized in various categories. There are weekly and daily updates, articles, resources, erotic fiction, live shows, chatrooms, film reviews, interviews and even informational columns. However, there's also an enormous amount of exclusive and leased content including five photo and eight video galleries.
The original images include 96 complete sets, but this only touches the surface of the photo quantity. Sets are divided into three or more sub-sets with around 40 images in each. Even from the thumbnails you get a sense of excitement. Pictures come in various sizes and I was a bit surprised that they weren't huge. However, they are crisp and exciting shots and each set appears to have a pictorial story, which is something I appreciate (358x550). Other galleries like "Dark Garden" have larger images. Videos also deliver great photos that are larger in size (531x800).
There are 49 original movies and another 70 BDSM shorts and Japanese collection films, but this is not including the non-exclusive streaming vault, toons or VideoBox films. The movies can be downloaded in QuickTime and Windows Media formats and there' also an iPod format as well (352x288, 359k). They aren' the highest quality and it' too bad because the filmmaking is fabulous, the themes are diverse, babes are exquisite and action is exciting and naturally acted when it comes to dialogue. Non-exclusive movies can often have a higher bitrate.
You will never feel like your BDSM fantasies aren' being met on this site. Wasteland delivers a terrific amount of exclusive content and an enormous amount of additional movies and photos. When it comes to originality, this site definitely has it covered.
