Once upon a time the SM Files were a part of a site called PainFiles. However, the producers decided to divide that particular site and this is what they've accomplished.
SMFiles is still an intense ride, but not quite as extreme as its sister site called ThePainFiles. There are no additional bonuses with this one, but the specialized nature of it makes it an intense experience nonetheless. You are offered an opportunity to submit a fantasy of your own that you'd like to see produced or to even be featured as a model if you choose.
Navigation is simple. While there isn't a search feature the content can be found through the recent updates, by model or by choosing one of the 28 BDSM categories.
The site updates every few days and there are 105 photosets containing 20 images each and I must admit that they're damn high quality (1360x2048). Downloadable in zip files, you'll discover the images to be amateur in nature and depicting what I'd consider candid BDSM scenes. There's little make-up on the babes and no photo touch-ups as far as I could tell. What you see is what you get and it's very vivid, particularly when it comes to categories like pain and needles. However, many of the photos are not quite as extreme as these. There are size options to view the pictures, which is convenient, particularly when you want to view the slideshow.
There are 20 movies of slave babes in scenes of breast bondage, nipple torture, hot wax, needles and s/m and these are divided into around three Windows Media or QuickTime clips. Format is inconsistent and the films aren't offered in both. Clips are five-minutes and are average looking (512k, 320x240, 640x480). Windows Media files are clear enough, but not crisp or as high in quality as the .mov clips. Nonetheless, the scenes have a realistic feeling, for example water and mascara stream from a ball-gagged babes eyes as her mistress removes dozens of flesh pinching wooden clothespins.
This site doesn't offer the highest quality videos, but you'll be hard pressed to find such excellent photos depicting real life s/m scenarios of pain and torture. There's harshness to many of the scenes, particularly where needles are used and I wouldn't say the site is for everyone. However, I never felt as if anything was acted, which gave SM Files scenarios a realistic feeling that amateur enthusiasts will appreciate.
