I have never seen Kumi Monster before, yet somehow I
am familiar with the name. If the member’s area is anything like the tour,
I can undoubtedly say that we’re all in for a hot time.
Immediately I’m impressed and when it comes to the world of SM
it does take a lot to really awe me. KumiMonster does exactly this, though.
The member’s are offers a welcome message and a menu with 11 different
areas to visit. I think this must be a new site because aside from the obvious
photos and videos, there is a forum and journal area, both of which are coming
soon.
There is an out ‘n about section where you can discover 60 behind-the-scenes
photosets of Kumi hanging with Midori (and I mean quite literally) at a bondage
show or doing a photo shoot in six more candid sets. There are also 35 art pictures,
19 webcam stills, 64 friends’ sets and her own personal gallery containing
approximately 87 links. Photos are organized by photographer names, which is
cool since I know that their art is worth recognition. However, a search feature
to find content by fetish or SM theme as opposed to only the update option would
have been great. Galleries contain at least another three to five sets and each
has about 25 spectacular and artistic shots (916x687 and 850x1200). While I’d
love to go into detail about the incredible images of bondages, smoking, rubber,
latex and wax, I should really get into the movies.
There’s a webcam chat option, but Kumi was not online during my visit.
There are 33 videos although there is no consistent format
for each. Some are offered as Windows Media or Real Player flicks and others
are QuickTime (512k, 224k, 320x240). The quality definitely requires improvement,
especially considering how the actual three to 10-minute sessions or scenes
are so incredible.
Variety certainly is the spice of this site. There are waxing scenes,
pony play, suspensions and a lot more. What’s particularly inspiring is
the photography. Videos almost seem an afterthought even though they can contain
very hot play. Updates are regular and certainly there is enough to experience
and the price is definitely reasonable, but in the year 2006, the movies need
have crisper images, as well as better download options. However, in
the end Kumi Monster entranced me.
