I've always loved sites with names like House Of Gord. It always makes me feel like I'm about to embark on a mansion of adventure with corridors of content and the moment I set my sights on the member's page, I can see that I'm already in for a wealth of BDSM excitement.
HouseOfGord doesn't exactly have the most attractive design and it actually looks a bit sloppy. However, it does have 11 categories and a terrific browse feature to make life all the more simple.
There is an information section where you can find out a bit of the site's philosophy and I must admit that I was impressed with what I read. Almost all of the models are over 30-years, so if you're looking for submissive nubile babes, then you may as well go elsewhere. These are experienced fetish and BDSM players and it's readily apparent in the content.
I think the navigation could have been better. I would have loved a better division between movies and photos and thought that when you entered a set the page numbers could have been more visible. In any case, this is minor. The photos come in sets of about 20 (800x531). They could have been larger and while they are amateur in style, there is a great variety and the images themselves are crisp.
The archives stretch back to March 1998 and there are 81 pages of videos and photos and a total of approximately 955 sets. This splits into about 230 Real Player videos and 725 photosets, which is my best guesstimate without taking several hours to count every single page. Movies are not added as often as photos but they can be streamed or downloaded in medium or high quality. The scenes were fabulous, the suspensions were creative and a person could almost get a bad case of vertigo just thinking about being bound so high in the air like one submissive named Eden Wells in a flick called Balloon Babe. The images were small and the bitrate wasn't that high, but the movies were clear and sound was in stereo.
The site has some of the most spectacular suspension bondage scenes, but this is hardly the extent of the amazing action. There are cages, cocooning, pony babes and loads of fornophilia, which for those who don't know is creating a submissive as part of a sculpture or piece of furniture. While the movie and photo quality could be improved, House Of Gord is one of the most original and exciting bondage sites I have come across in a very long time.
