Going into Bondage Puppets, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Of course, I expected ropes and changes and submissive chicks being bound and tied, but I wasn't clear on the overall theme of the site.
Inside the BondagePuppets member's area, I immediately detected an amateur site. The layout was just a little too plain. There weren't any enticing photos and in fact all you see is link after text link and a basic menu to the photos and videos.
I wasn't sure what to make of the update schedule. It appears the site was launched in July 2007 and there are some days where it looks as if nearly a dozen new photo and video sets were added and other days when nothing new appears. The schedule doesn't appear to be set in stone, so whether there's going to be weekly updates or not is a bit up in the air.
There are bonus sites with your membership or at least the tour states that there are six solo-model sites included. However, there wasn't an access point to the bonuses within the member's area. Still, you are supposed to have access to MagicStella and MagicMangy among others and I notice that some of these individual models are profiled in the exclusive bondage content.
There are seven galleries in the photo section of the site and while there may be three sets for every chick, the sets are sometimes simply divided into zip downloads and are in fact part of one larger set. In total, there are 40 sets including guest models. Ropes appear to be the medium of choice for many scenes, but there are plastic wrap bondage scenes, too. Also, there's a bit of PVC fetish going on in the photos. There are 20 to 40 photos in a set and admittedly the quality is fantastic (1696x2544).
There are four video categories and a total of 18 Windows Media films that you can stream or download. The newest flick features a pretty blonde named Mangy. The flick is only five-minute long and opens on a shot where she's fucking herself with a black dildo before leading a submissive black male by chain and collar to the bathroom. He licks her boots, and then removes them before she puts him in the bath and then the movie ends. I can only express how unexciting the whole experience was to me. The image quality was good, but no effort seemed to be made to actually include bondage or even any sort seamless BDSM session. Movies were short and quite frankly they put me to sleep.
While the quality of the content on Bondage Puppets is quite good, there's a serous lack or real bondage or moments of domination. The action is very soft and tame and may interest those that love a tiny swirl of kink with their vanilla preferences.
