Bondage Geisha is, hands down, one of the most unique, interesting and enchanting BDSM sites on the market. It has a few unfortunate problems that keep it from scoring higher, but it may well provide a better experience than some of the higher ranked sites. It isn't always successful, but it puts a lot of work into documenting elaborate bondage techniques and making BDSM practices into beautiful and artistic experiences.
You'll notice the special flavor of the BondageGeisha as soon as you log into the members' area. It doesn't have a conventional layout and can be a little confusing to first-time members, but the site's design is well explained and there is a logic to the various sections on the site.
There are several 'picture' section that are fairly self explanatory, but what really makes the site stand out are the extensive information sections. 'Shibari Secrets' section which details some of the tradition and history of the 'Japanese rope art' with well-written text and galleries of high-quality photos providing example of various aspect of the discipline.
Another section called 'Info and Education' provides extensive documentation and instruction on everything from overall bondage techniques to rope selection, use and knots. You'll also find a few instructional videos in this section along with the texts.
In all, the site offers about 25 movies and 106 photo galleries. Sadly, not all of the content is impressive. You'll find some good-quality downloadable Windows Media videos and galleries of gorgeous, erotic and artistic high-res pictures, but you also find streaming-only Flash videos that are low in quality and some very mediocre photos.
Another problem is that some of the videos that involve actual penetration have blurred-out sections. This reflects the fact that much of the content is Japanese, which means that it's subjected to extensive censorship regulations.
Not all of the content is Japanese in origin and you'll see bondage models from other backgrounds performing and practicing the various techniques described on the site.
While there is no bonus access that comes with your membership, updates are made weekly to the already large collection of material the site. Considering all of its extras that have already been described and other features like erotic stores, this site really does provide an excellent experience.
Bondage Geisha is such a alluring and elaborate site that I wish I could score it higher, but objectively speaking it needs to improve the consistency of its content quality and fix some broken links in order to be at its best.
